KOH, KOJE and KOMEX History

1978
KOJE
KOH

As all AM DXers in Nordic countries know, Esa Hänninen has edited many years KOJE list for the joy of yankee fans. 22nd edition was published in the end of october 1999.

Because the list of yankees which can be heard (KOJE) was at first published once a year, were some pieces of information out of date just a couple of weeks after publishing. Therefore KOJE moved into internet bit by bit (or byte by byte). At first there were some additions, corrections and change history in the net. And later all the information was published in the net.

In addition to KOJE Esa made also the list of hawaiians (KOH). Updates and publishing of KOH have been done following the same principles as KOJE.

1993
KOMEX

Since 1993 Esa has edited KOMEX list for all Mexico fans. In this list you can find all mexican AM stations, which Esa has found somewhere on the air, in the net or in magazines.

Also KOMEX has moved from paper to the web. The change history has been updated with the same manner as with KOJE.

2008

The editing of HTML format list has left off.

Old 3 categories has changed to 2 categories:

Category 1 = heard in Sweden/Norway/Finland
Category 2 = possible to hear in Sweden/Norway/Finland

In May 2008 Tapio Kalmi takes over the editing work.
